"Autumn was given 50-50 chance of survival when she was born.", said Dr. Megan lagoski.
Her heart was blocked from performing all the work that required to pump blood through the lungs and pickup oxygen and pump it to rest of the body.
Autumn's mother stated that it was very difficult to move her to another hospital, but that was the best decision she could take.
"It was a risky transfer, but shee needed the help of a specialist", Robinson stated.
At Lurie Children's, she was treated with different medications and also underwent a surgery to place a breathing tube and receive oxygen therapy.
Autumn was in the hospital for 524 long days filled with unimaginable and unknown difficulties.
Dr.Robinson visited Autumn everyday and made it her priority to talk to her.
