The connecticut state university has newly opened its seperate building for the human service and health.
It will expose the healthcare students to a hospital like surrounding and also increase the capacity of the community.
The new building has 120 seat lecture hall, an open study space, athletic training lab, technology classrooms and many more.
It offers facilities that serve southern Connecticut at-risk populations such as speech clinics, therapy rooms and a human performance lab.
What’s also special about the newest building is that it sits next to SCSU’s first building that was built in 1951, Pelz Gymnasium.
The SCSU expansion appears as "critical shortages" of nation face and Connecticut in the health care industry.
It will also lead to the enrollment of many students in this field.
