Dr. Richard, health Director, City of Laredo stated that things are improving to some extent. However, there is a lot more to go.
The U.S government still regards Covid-19 as a Public Health Emergency Situation.
According to the Health director, the exact date and time of when the pandemic will be entirely over is still unknown.
He further told that the pandemic will be over when the recorded cases decreases and Covid 19 will no longer be termed as a Public Health Emergency.
It is clear that even if the pandemic is not over in the US, it has made significant progress.
