A doctor accused for the death of a 9 year child has made an application to remove herself from the medical register.
Dr Heather Steen is told by the GMC to have acted dishonestly in trying to hide the circumstances of Robert Claire's Death.
Robert Claire died at the Royal Belfast Hospital for sick children in 1996.
At the time of death, her parents were told that a viral infection had spread from her stomach to the brain.
However, after 22 long years, a query stated that Claire died due to doctor's negligency from an overdose of fluid and medication.
As proceedings reached the halfway stage, Dr Steen was expected to give evidence but instead on Monday her legal team submitted a second bid for voluntary erasure.
Dr Steen was not present at the hearing and her legal representative stated that he was the content for the application to be progressed in her absence.
The programme featured the deaths of three children and the build-up of fluid in their brains.
A fresh inquest stated that Claire's death was due to " treatment she received in the hospital".
Dr Steen denied the allegations imposed on her.
