The NEET state merit list for Maharashtra will soon be available on the website of Directorate of Medical Education (DMER) of the state. The top applicants to MBBS and BDS programmes are ranked on two independent merit lists, and both courses have distinct minimum grade requirements.

For the remaining 15% of state quota seats and all places at private universities, DMER is in charge of counselling and creating the merit list. The remaining 15% of available slots are set out for students from India and are filled via a counselling process run by the Medical Council Committee (MCC).

The State of Maharashtra NEET Guidance Sessions, the Year 2022

The counselling procedure will start when the state merit list is published. Candidates interested in applying for one of the 9820 MBBS or 3526 BDS seats may now register online for the application process. Then comes seat assignment, in which students are assigned schools of their choosing.

Two rounds of counselling and four rounds of role-playing are typical. If a student qualifying the exam is not satisfied with the college allotted to them, they may reapply at the subsequent round of counselling.

After successfully assigning students a seat, they must report to their trusted institutions to finish the document verification procedure. If a candidate is caught with fake or insufficient documentation during the verification process, they may be dismissed from consideration. After that, we will begin the admissions process and start courses.
