Examination for the Recruitment of Army Public School Teachers 2022: On November 5th and 6th, 2022, the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) will hold an Online Screening Test (OST) to hire Postgraduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), and Primary Teachers (PRTs).

Those who successfully pass the OST will be considered for teaching positions in Army Public Schools. Each school is responsible for publicising open teaching positions through appropriate channels (such as the school’s website, a notice board, and local newspapers). Qualifications to Apply for the Army’s Public School Teacher OST Position in 2022
Qualifications in Education:
To be eligible for a position as a PGT, applicants must have a master’s degree and a B.Ed with at least 50 per cent marks in each; to be eligible for a position as a TGT, they must have a bachelor’s degree and a B.Ed with at least 50 per cent marks in each. To be eligible for a position as a PRT, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a two-year D.El.Ed.

The admit card will be released on the official website ten days before the test. Candidates may get a copy to print at their convenience. Those who qualify and are eligible to give the test will be invited for an interview by a ‘Central Selection Board (CSB) (CSB). The “Chairman Board of Administration” at the six Command Headquarters issues orders to these boards. Candidates for the teacher position under ‘Fixed Term’ employment are also required to go through an interview with a Local Selection Board (LSB), which the Local Military Authority mandates.
